In addition to the famous Chamberlin Observatory, which was built in 1894, to shelter a state-of-the-art scientific tool for its day – the Alvan Clark-Saegmuller 20-inch refracting telescope, which had been displayed the year before at the Chicago World’s Fair.

This highly residential neighborhood shares many features of the DU (University of Denver) neighborhood like access to retail and entertainment centers but without the fervor of student life.
