A wonderful Denver neighborhood full of well-tended ranch-style homes on larger lots.

Welcome to Southern Hills

Southern Hills, also known as Wellshire, is a wonderful Denver neighborhood full of well-tended ranch-style homes on larger lots. While most homes were built in the ’60s and ’70s, many of them have been updated to resemble both modern and traditional styles. The neighborhood is ranked as one of the lowest crime neighborhoods in Denver and holds Denver’s top-performing school, the Slavens K-8 School. Nearby lies the popular Wellshire Golf Club, as well as a few shopping centers (the closest being Cherry Creek Shopping Center) and delicious restaurants.

While still private in feel, this neighborhood is still conveniently located in proximity to the City of Denver and has fantastic city access by way of University and Colorado Boulevard. On the north side of Yale is McWilliam’s Park, named after justice Robert Hugh McWilliams. On the north side of Yale is McWilliam’s Park, named after justice Robert Hugh McWilliams.
